Accounts Receivable Analyst Job Description

Adecco Canada is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our client's finance team in Ajax, ON. This role offers a competitive salary of $27/hour.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage billing processes and ensure timely collections.
  • Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with company standards and IFRS.
  • Process AR transactions and billings for the sale of OEM charging plans, Home products, and Commercial solutions.
  • Generate and submit customer account statements according to month-end deadlines.
  • Communicate with business owners regarding the status of billing requests and outstanding collections.
  • Prepare monthly AR reconciliations and aging reports to ensure timely collection of receivables.
  • Document and request approvals for bad debt accounts when applicable.
  • Provide supplementary monthly reports to various stakeholders.
  • Support external and internal audit requirements.
Requirements:
  • Legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and accounting principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
