Job OpportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at the LMC Barrie clinic, located at 370 Bayview Dr, Barrie. As a Physician Assistant, you will work closely with our team of endocrinologists and other healthcare professionals to provide medical care in the areas of endocrinology and diabetes.
Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive clinical assessments of patients, including obtaining history, performing physical assessments, and reviewing diagnostic testing.
- Manage and counsel patients through the implementation and adjustment of diabetes and other endocrine therapies and monitoring systems.
- Consult with supervising physicians as necessary and perform all patient care activities as per medical directives.
- Act as Sub-Investigator and coordinator for research studies, conducting study patient physicals, visits, and performing queries.
- You must be a member in good standing of the Canadian Association of Physician Assistants (CAPA).
- Experience practicing as a Physician Assistant is considered an asset, but we welcome new graduates to apply pending PACC Exam results in 2024.
- You should be ready to expand your expertise and grow in the specialty of Endocrinology Practice.
