Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recreation Coordinator to join our team at Casa Mia Care Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating recreation programs for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement recreation programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
  • Supervise and train staff, volunteers, and program leaders to ensure the delivery of high-quality programs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure that programs are tailored to meet the physical and emotional needs of our residents.
  • Manage program budgets, resources, and logistics to ensure efficient delivery of programs.
  • Conduct needs assessments, program evaluations, and provide recommendations for program improvements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, vendors, and stakeholders to enhance program offerings.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Therapeutic Recreation, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in recreation programming, preferably in a long-term care setting.
  • Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) certification.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
