Job Title: Frontend Engineer, Cloud/Angular/React

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Frontend Engineer to join our team at Ansys. As a Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our cloud-based software products using Angular and React frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain high-quality frontend code for our cloud-based software products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize features and requirements.
  • Develop and maintain APIs and services using JavaScript and Python.
  • Work closely with backend engineers to ensure seamless integration of frontend and backend systems.
  • Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to code reviews.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and trends.

Requirements:

  • BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience developing commercial enterprise software.
  • Experience with Angular and React frameworks.
  • Experience with JavaScript, Python, and other programming languages.
  • Good understanding of web architecture, APIs, and microservices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Familiarity with enterprise software development best-practices, Git, Linux, and Continuous Integration.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL or RDBMS Database technologies.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
