Job Title: Frontend Software Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Frontend Software Developer to join our team at Ansys. As a Frontend Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining software products and supporting systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement software modules and sub-systems
  • Propose and implement novel solutions
  • Write testable, readable, scalable, clean, and efficient code
  • Participate in Agile process meetings
  • Learn and employ best practices to convert customer requirements into scalable designs
  • Perform bug verification, release testing, and beta support for assigned products
Requirements:
  • BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field of study
  • A minimum of 1 year of working experience developing commercial enterprise software
  • Experience with developing web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, and/or React framework
  • Experience in designing APIs and developing scalable services using JavaScript or Python or C# or Java
  • Experience with large project development and deployment on AWS and/or Azure
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field of study
  • Familiarity with enterprise software development best-practices, Git, Linux, Continuous integration, and Continuous deployments
  • Familiarity with NoSQL or RDBMS Database technologies
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and to collaborate with others in a geographically distributed team
