We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at 1273129 Alberta Ltd. as a Financial Data Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and performing various accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Management: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and trial balances.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
- Accounting Tasks: Perform various accounting tasks, including preparing bank reconciliations, payroll, and financial reports.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, including tracking and reporting on inventory levels.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Utilize MS Access, MS Word, and MS Windows to perform accounting tasks and maintain financial records.
- Security and Safety: Maintain a high level of security and safety, including adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Possess a reliable means of transportation to travel to various locations as required.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, and a large workload.
- Personal Suitability: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to multitask, work accurately, and maintain a client-focused approach.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
