About The Glynmill Inn Incorporated

We are a reputable hotel, motel, and resort seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our housekeeping team as a Housekeeping Attendant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing
    • Sweep, mop, and scrub hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment
    • Empty trash cans and other waste containers to prevent odors and pests
    • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to maintain high standards of hygiene
  • Maintenance and Repairs
    • Perform minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
    • Contact tradespersons for major repairs to ensure prompt and efficient resolution
  • Safety and Security
    • Conduct regular safety and security checks to identify potential hazards
    • Report any incidents or concerns to management to ensure a safe working environment
  • Equipment Operation
    • Operate carpet cleaning machines, waxing machines, and other equipment to maintain high standards of cleanliness
    • Use snowblowers to clear walkways and parking areas during winter months
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • Previous experience in cleaning and maintenance is an asset
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks
