About The Glynmill Inn Incorporated

We are a reputable hotel and resort company seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our housekeeping team as a Housekeeping Attendant.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel and resort facilities, including hallways, floors, stairs, bathrooms, and other areas. This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs; empty trash cans and other waste containers; make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Housekeeping: Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures; clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Operate carpet cleaning machine, waxing machine, upholstery cleaning equipment, and snowblower.
  • Security and Safety: Perform safety and security checks; ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability.
