About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our team at Perceptive Space Systems Inc. in a permanent, full-time capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative instrumentation for astronomical observation and analysis.
  • Contribute to the design and development of instrumentation and software for astronomical observation and analysis.
  • Design and conduct observational surveys, conduct detailed analyses, and develop numerical models to advance our understanding of celestial bodies and cosmic radiation.
  • Analyze research data and prepare comprehensive research reports.
  • Design and conduct research in experimental and theoretical physics.
  • Collaborate as a member of a research or development team in the design and development of experimental, industrial, or medical equipment, instrumentation, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or temporary resident with a valid Canadian work permit.
