Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research into the synthesis and properties of chemical compounds and the mechanisms of chemical reactions. They will also analyze, synthesize, purify, modify and characterize chemical or biochemical compounds, and develop and conduct programs of analysis to ensure quality control of raw materials, chemical intermediates or final products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and synthesize chemical compounds to develop new products or improve existing ones
  • Conduct research into the properties and mechanisms of chemical reactions
  • Develop and implement quality control programs to ensure the quality of raw materials, chemical intermediates or final products
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate research findings and results
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in a research or analytical laboratory
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
