Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service in our dining rooms and kitchens.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide guidance on food preparation and presentation.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operations Management: Establish methods to meet work schedules, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and prepare budget and cost estimates.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, as well as prepare and submit reports as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and team player
Work Conditions

40 hours per week, permanent position, work language: English
