Project Engineer for Installation Analysis

Position Overview:
As a Project Engineer specializing in Installation Analysis, you will play a pivotal role in the engineering and design of installation processes for signaling projects. Your expertise will contribute to the development of sustainable mobility solutions, ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive engineering studies, including:
- Bill of Installation Materials and Quantities
- Method Statements
- Installation Materials Specification Requirements
- Installation drawings and configurations

2. Deliver Installation Engineering activities in accordance with Alstom System requirements.

3. Create, review, and approve all installation designs, including Installation Method Statements and drawings, while managing site documentation with appropriate mark-ups.

4. Ensure the accuracy of 'as built' drawings prior to the commencement of revenue service, including the verification of 'as installed' configurations.

5. Generate and update Installation Bill of Quantities (BOQ) as per project specifications, ensuring traceability to installation requirements.

6. Organize regular inspections of installation tools, maintaining calibration records and usage notices.

7. Determine the initiation of work based on the 4M Checklist for Installation Engineering activities.

8. Conduct reviews of project installation activities and report on actions taken.

Qualifications:
- Proficiency in BIM, AutoCAD, and Microstation for creating and modifying 2D drawings is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings for installation purposes.
- Familiarity with basic mechanical and electrical tools for testing and verification of installations.
- Competence in office applications such as MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work in both office and field environments under varying seasonal conditions.
- Commitment to adhering to safety regulations as outlined by the site and industry standards.
- Occasional international travel may be required.

Experience:
- Certification in AutoCAD or other design tools is desirable.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in design, drafting, or engineering within the railway sector.
- Strong knowledge of railway products and services across various market segments, including Urban, Mainline, and Freight.
- Experience in managing projects with a focus on Quality, Cost, and Delivery objectives.
