POSITION OVERVIEW
The Software Application Engineer II plays a vital role in supporting our software offerings and associated systems. This position involves collaborating with a team of skilled professionals to achieve customer support goals effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Attain proficiency in one or more software products while working independently.
  2. Address customer inquiries regarding software functionalities.
  3. Investigate and document product defect complaints for the R&D team.
  4. Compose clear and concise descriptions for product enhancement suggestions.
  5. Work diligently behind the scenes, focusing on tasks and following guidance from a mentor to assist with evaluations, benchmarks, or demonstrations.
  6. Build trust and respect among team members.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Master’s degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  2. Familiarity with EDA tools, including layout, Static Timing Analysis, Extraction-SPEF/DSPF, Spice, and IC/ASIC design flow from RTL to GDSII, as well as custom circuit analysis and design. Proficiency in low power design methodologies and programming skills in Python, Tcl, or similar languages.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Technical expertise in analyzing and designing digital, mixed-signal, and/or analog circuits. Experience in developing methodologies for voltage drop (EMIR) and reliability analysis of digital designs.
  2. Background in large-scale commercial software support.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  4. Willingness to travel as necessary.
  5. Quick learner with the ability to collaborate effectively within a geographically dispersed team.
  6. Dependable in completing work assignments accurately and punctually.
