Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the ship superintendent to facilitate the smooth loading and unloading of cargo, whether onto vessels or into storage areas.
  • Oversee assigned teams to guarantee that productivity targets are achieved during all dock operations.
  • Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring the safe operation of lifting equipment.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough records for all logbook entries.
  • Work in conjunction with ship and yard superintendents to prioritize and coordinate cargo handling and storage activities.

Working Conditions:

  • Permanent employment opportunity.
  • Standard schedule from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with potential shifts from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm or night shifts from 8:00 pm to 8:00 am.
  • Weekend availability may be necessary based on shipping schedules and traffic.
  • High availability required for maritime operations, with overtime compensation.
