The Senior Manager, RBC Data Risk Audit and COE is a critical position within the Royal Bank of Canada's (RBC) Risk Management team. This role is responsible for conducting data risk audits to assess the effectiveness of data-related controls, accuracy of financial records, efficiency of operations, and compliance with governmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead data risk audit engagements to identify and mitigate potential risks to the organization.
- Develop and implement audit plans to ensure comprehensive coverage of data risk management practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address data risk management gaps.
- Provide oversight and challenge on audit activities to ensure effective risk management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- 7-10 years of experience in data risk, data audit, IT audit, or a related field.
- Professional designation (CDMP, CIA, CPA, CISA, CISSP, CISM) is an asset.
- Experience working in financial services, consulting, banking, capital markets, wealth management, or global asset management is preferred.
