About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit Farm Worker to join our team at Double Diamond Enterprises Inc. as part of our Vegetable Production department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grade and Harvest Vegetables: Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to size, shape, color, and volume to fetch high prices in the market.
  • Hand Harvesting: Hand harvest vegetables to ensure high-quality produce.
  • Earth Leveling: Level earth to fine grade specifications to prepare the soil for planting.
  • Plant Care: Tie and secure plants to promote healthy growth and prevent damage.
  • Cleanliness: Clean the work area to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Quality Control: Examine product for quality and readiness for the market.
  • Crop Management: Cut horticultural crops to ensure optimal growth and yield.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods. The ability to work in a physically demanding environment is essential.

Requirements
  • Physical Demands: The ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Experience: Experience in farm work or a related field is an asset.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 40 to 60 hours per week.
