Occupational Therapist - Part-time Opportunity

Lifemark Health Group is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to join our team at our Richmond Oval location.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to work with our clients in a fast-paced environment. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing clients' physical and cognitive functioning, creating and implementing individualized treatment plans, and educating clients on topics such as safe body mechanics and cognitive behavioral strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Assess clients' physical and cognitive functioning within the clinic setting
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on analysis and clinical reasoning
  • Educate clients on topics such as safe body mechanics and cognitive behavioral strategies
  • Support return-to-work programs, including job coaching and accommodation recommendations
  • Utilize e-charting software to document treatment sessions and submit reports to stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Participate in case conferences and case management
  • Collaborate with the inter-professional team at your clinic
  • Supervise Occupational Therapy students (as preferred)
  • Network with stakeholders to promote Lifemark OT programs
Requirements
  • Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists
  • 3-5 years of previous experience treating clients with physical, neurological, and/or mental health conditions (preferred)
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience supporting auto insurance, long-term disability, and WSIB referrals is a strong asset
  • Experience supporting occupational rehabilitation is a strong asset
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
