Your Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct comprehensive inspections and maintenance on aircraft systems to guarantee safety and optimal performance. Carry out necessary repairs and testing to comply with safety regulations.
  2. Efficiently replace defective or aged components to uphold aircraft reliability and functionality.
  3. Oversee aircraft movements and towing procedures, ensuring accurate handling and positioning within the hangar and on the ramp.
  4. Perform various ramp operations, including marshalling, fueling, and cargo handling, to support flight activities.
  5. Maintain tools and equipment in excellent condition, conducting regular checks to ensure readiness for use.
  6. Assist with assigned tasks, gaining valuable practical experience in aircraft maintenance.
  7. Carry out essential servicing operations on the flight line, including pre-flight and post-flight checks to ensure aircraft readiness.
  8. Support licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers in various maintenance activities, collaborating to uphold high maintenance and safety standards.
  9. Regularly inspect the work environment for hazards, ensuring a clean and safe workspace. Participate in cleanup efforts to maintain operational efficiency.
  10. Perform routine maintenance on ground support equipment to ensure it operates effectively, contributing to overall operations.
  11. Adhere to all Administrative, Health & Safety policies and procedures as mandated by legislation and company guidelines.
Your Qualifications:
  1. Possession of a Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Diploma (or equivalent).
  2. A highly motivated individual with strong organizational and communication abilities.
  3. Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  4. Effective oral and written communication skills.
  5. Proven ability to collaborate and a strong desire to build relationships.
  6. Understanding of aerospace design and maintenance standards.
  7. Physical capability to lift 100lbs, work at heights, and navigate tight spaces. Ability to stand for extended periods with limited sitting except during breaks.
  8. Capacity to follow directions and solve problems effectively.
  9. Professional demeanor, ethical standards, and a commitment to excellence.
  10. Strong learning ability and capacity to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Additional Requirements:
  1. Eligibility for RAAC and AVOP passes.
  2. A valid Ontario driver's license with a clean driving record.
  3. Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and shifts as required by workload demands.
  4. Occasional travel may be necessary.
