Quality Control Inspector

As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our aircraft maintenance and inspection processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform hidden damage inspections to ensure the integrity of aircraft components
  • Verify that all paperwork is complete and compliant with engineering specifications, manufacturers' maintenance manuals, and Repair Station/Quality Control Manual
  • Conduct service inspections of aircraft or components in accordance with applicable parts of chapter 14 CFR (FARs) and the manufacturer's maintenance manual
  • Assist other inspectors in the performance of their duties within area(s) of qualification
  • Train, coach, and mentor employees in the performance of duties in area(s) of qualification
  • Provide data to customers as requested
Requirements:
  • Typically 5 years' aircraft maintenance experience
  • 2 to 3 years' inspection experience - preferred
  • 1 year aircraft maintenance experience with Bombardier business jet aircraft - preferred
  • Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license or appropriately rated Repairman Certificate
  • Basic knowledge of SAP
  • Working knowledge of business aircraft inspection programs, for example, final close-out procedures, engine installations, and in-process inspections
  • Working knowledge of business aircraft maintenance, preventative maintenance, rebuilding, and alteration as related to inspection buy-off
  • Working knowledge of Repair Station/Quality Control Manual
