Key Responsibilities:
The Clinical Therapist will be responsible for the following:
- Support the mission and values of Kerry's Place through professional conduct and adherence to policies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Deliver clinical services in alignment with established quality assurance measures.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with families, community partners, and interdisciplinary professionals.
- Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to design and implement effective intervention strategies.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Supervisor to develop individualized behavior plans and protocols.
- Provide direct support to individuals with ASD through teaching sessions and group activities.
- Conduct assessments and maintain thorough documentation of progress and outcomes.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall clinical strategy.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A degree or diploma in Applied Behavior Analysis, Behavioral Science, Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience working within a clinical multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder and evidence-based treatment methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data management.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals experiencing challenging behaviors.
- Fluency in French is an asset.
Working Conditions:
This position requires flexibility in scheduling, including the potential for evening and weekend hours. A valid driver's license and personal vehicle are necessary for travel related to the role.
