About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and experienced carpenter to join our team at Epic Roofing & Exteriors Commercial Ltd. As a carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining buildings, bridges, and other structures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts and ensure compliance with building codes using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to create structures
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial structures
Work Environment

As a carpenter, you will work in a fast-paced commercial construction environment, often at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty conditions.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the trade
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty conditions
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work long hours
