About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Epic Roofing & Exteriors Commercial Ltd. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining residential and commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts and measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings
Work Environment

You will work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying weather conditions. You will be required to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty conditions.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the trade
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency
  • Reliability, judgement, and strong interpersonal skills
