Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Tahini's is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage, as well as prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure the efficient operation of our food service.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
Work Environment:

Tahini's is a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring the highest quality of food and service. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be required to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.
