About the Organization:
Tri-County Mennonite Homes operates Greenwood Court, a nurturing environment designed for seniors to age comfortably in their own community. Our commitment is to provide a supportive atmosphere where residents can maintain their independence while receiving the necessary care and services as their needs evolve.

Role Overview:
The Unregulated Care Provider plays a vital role within our Nursing team. Responsibilities include delivering essential care to residents, executing specific interventions outlined in individual care plans, and assisting in the nursing process by monitoring and reporting any changes in residents' physical and emotional well-being.

Compensation:
Hourly wage of $21.03

Qualifications:

  • Proficient understanding of person-centered care in alignment with the Retirement Homes Act and organizational policies.
  • Experience in medication administration is preferred; training will be provided as this is a job requirement.
  • A strong commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
  • Familiarity with the Residents' Bill of Rights and a dedication to upholding these rights.

Essential Skills and Attributes:

  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on senior care.
  • Physical capability to perform necessary tasks, including lifting and transferring residents.
  • Adherence to clinical infection control protocols.
  • Ability to manage responsive behaviors effectively.
  • Basic computer literacy is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
