Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Tomato E-commerce Inc is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods in and out of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine Method of Shipment: Research and select the most cost-effective and efficient shipping methods for our products.
  • Schedule Transportation Conveyances: Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate transportation of goods.
  • Prepare Shipping Documents: Accurately prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Inspect and Verify Incoming Goods: Conduct thorough inspections of incoming goods to ensure they match invoices and other documentation.
  • Unpack and Store Goods: Unpack and store goods in a safe and organized manner, ensuring easy access for future use.
  • Oversee Loading and Unloading: Supervise the loading and unloading of goods to ensure safe and efficient handling.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Windows.
  • Personal Suitability: Organized, team player, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
