Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and prepare specimens for testing
  • Interact with patients and healthcare providers to ensure accurate and efficient specimen collection
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve laboratory goals
  • Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality at all times

Requirements:

  • Completion of a Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent experience
  • Phlebotomy training and certification
  • ECG experience is an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced laboratory environment
