Role Overview:
The Client Relations Specialist is responsible for nurturing and developing relationships with a designated portfolio of long-term clients through effective communication channels such as phone and email.
This role involves investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving a significant volume of standard client inquiries, while proactively anticipating further questions and needs.
Utilize foundational knowledge of operational procedures and best practices to address routine challenges that may occasionally require interpretation or analysis.
Collaborate with senior specialists and internal departments as necessary to ensure successful project resolution.
Document all relevant interactions in the CRM system to maintain accurate data, which is crucial for effective client retention.
Provide training to clients on the Paycom system, identifying new users and offering personalized training sessions when appropriate.
Ensure the accuracy of payroll processing for all assigned accounts, achieving 100% accuracy.
Engage in ongoing professional development and self-improvement to complete mandatory training programs, enhance system knowledge, and stay informed on legislation affecting clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience in troubleshooting standard client accounts and inquiries, demonstrating problem-solving and analytical skills under moderate supervision.
- Familiarity with basic auditing and reconciliation processes.
- Proficiency in Excel for data management, including handling large datasets, utilizing pivot tables, and executing formulas.
- Strong ability to build relationships.- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Competence in Windows and MS Office, with a quick aptitude for learning new applications.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team to initiate solutions and support team members in achieving performance objectives.
- Self-driven to complete assigned tasks and projects punctually.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
- Willingness to work additional hours and weekends as required to meet team and departmental goals.
- Adaptability in approach and demeanor to align with the varying demands of different situations.
