Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Operator, Class 1 Specialist to join our Pigging & Decoking division. As a key member of our team, you will work with crews of 4-8 people, performing a variety of tasks including rigging-in and rigging-out, operating pigging equipment, and providing mechanical troubleshooting support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely mobilize equipment to and from client sites, company stations, and other facilities as directed
  • Set up and operate specialty pigging equipment to clean systems at facilities
  • Provide mechanical troubleshooting support in the field to ensure pigging equipment remains operable
  • Provide mechanical support in the shop to repair and maintain equipment
  • Ensure completion of accurate daily driving and on-duty logs
  • Proactively ensure all personal training requirements are met and maintained
  • Maintain open and truthful dialogue with Supervisors, Project Managers, and Operations Manager to ensure understanding of scope of work and job readiness
  • Haul hoses, PPE, and tools to where the work is being done
  • Complete required paperwork for projects and jobs
  • Challenge your eye for detail, practice what we preach. Take your time, get the job done right the first time and safely every time
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Valid Class 1 license (able to drive manual transmission) with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years is required
  • Onsite training will be provided
  • H2S Alive and Standard First Aid are an asset but not required, we can train you
  • Ability to provide a negative pre-employment drug and alcohol test
  • Flexibility in scheduling, both day or night shifts will be required
