Job Summary

At Edge OFS, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Wireline Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe execution of our wireline operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist crew and supervisors/management with duties in the field and shop.
  • Have or acquire a Class 3 license with Q endorsement.
  • Able to work on a 24-hour on-call basis.
  • Complete driver evaluation and basic safety courses.
  • Perform pre/post trips on units, maintain required safety, operational, and regulatory documentation, and assist with cleaning shop, yard, and equipment.
  • Rig in/rig out lubricator, logging tools, sheaves, and other equipment as required.
  • Assist loading perforating guns (under supervision and upon completion of required training).
  • Understand and operate various meters (megohmmeter, Simpson, digital/Fluke, etc.) and learn how to disassemble and service various rope sockets/cableheads.
  • Basic knowledge of pressure control equipment and tools.
  • Give proper crane hand signals as per advanced driver training.
  • Understanding of basic wellbore mechanics and design (size) and differentiate between sweet and sour well operations.
  • Install tire chains (under supervision) and mix oilwell cement.

  • Ability to follow instruction.
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude and qualities of a team player.
  • 18 years of age.
  • Successful completion of the pre-hire testing (physical/hearing test/drug screen).
