We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Instructor of Persons with Learning Disabilities to join our team at Sherry Van Blyderveen. As an Instructor, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities to achieve their educational and personal goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with specialists to develop personalized programs that cater to the unique needs of clients with learning disabilities.
- Design and implement individualized education and intervention plans to facilitate clients' readaptation and independence objectives.
- Perform administrative tasks to ensure seamless program delivery.
- Children and individuals with learning disabilities.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Client-focused with excellent interpersonal skills, oral communication, and written communication.
- Flexible, proactive, and organized with a strong sense of initiative and judgment.
- A team player with a commitment to excellence.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Free parking available.
- Learning/training paid by employer.
- Permanent employment with 37.5 hours per week.
- Language of work: English.
