About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Meat Clerk to join our team at Metro Inc. in Alma, QC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and accurately count meat products, including beef and other products sold by the department, ordered by the department manager or assistant manager and ensure they are properly stored in the warehouse, refrigerator, or other designated storage areas.
  • Prepare meat products, package, label, and display them according to department standards for sale.
  • Update prices on display tables and, if necessary, on products in the department.
  • Rotate merchandise on display tables and maintain a clean work area.
  • Provide excellent customer service in the department.
  • Adhere to government health standards.
  • Wear required safety equipment.
  • Clean work areas and maintain a clean sales floor, including countertops, displays, etc.
  • Perform any other related tasks as required by their immediate supervisor.
