Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Deli Clerk to join our team at Metro Inc. as a permanent part-time employee. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the deli department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and count goods, including deli meats, cheeses, and other products, and store them correctly
• Slice deli meats, cut cheeses, package, weigh, label, and display products according to department guidelines
• Implement price changes and rotate merchandise on shelves
• Provide exceptional customer service at the deli counter
• Adhere to government safety standards and wear required safety equipment
• Complete any other tasks assigned by management
