Job Title: Decision Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Decision Support Specialist to join our team at Brockton and Area Family Health Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing expert advice to senior managers and officials, maintaining and updating health information databases, and compiling and analyzing statistical information from private and public health care institutions and organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice to senior managers and officials on healthcare-related matters
  • Maintain, update, and manage health information databases to ensure accuracy and relevance
  • Compile and analyze statistical information from private and public health care institutions and organizations to inform decision-making
  • Produce high-quality reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations
  • Monitor and evaluate healthcare programs to ensure effectiveness and efficiency
  • Present the views of the organization to members, the media, and the general public
  • Organize conferences and meetings to facilitate collaboration and knowledge-sharing
  • Provide consulting services to government and other organizations on healthcare-related matters
  • Design and implement health and wellness projects or programs to improve health outcomes
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments of health projects and programs to identify areas for improvement
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary projects to achieve common goals
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as healthcare administration or public health
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop recommendations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with senior managers, officials, and other stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and knowledge-sharing
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Access, and SQL
  • Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare-related software
