JOB OVERVIEW
In the capacity of a Project Support Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in assisting project leaders with a variety of tasks associated with the capital initiatives. Your responsibilities will encompass evaluating financial assets, monitoring project expenditures, and facilitating project operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver analytical support for the management of financial resources and oversight of budgets.
- Aid in the planning and execution of projects by tracking advancements and creating reports.
- Organize project documentation and refresh project databases.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements for projects and ensure data is current in SAP.
- Oversee procurement processes and support project leaders with bid timelines and vendor agreements.
- Examine service documentation, liaise with stakeholders, and verify project costs.
- Engage with suppliers to secure essential documentation for project fulfillment.
- Revise project timelines and confirm the precision of project reports in SAP.
- Compile project status reports for management discussions.
- Serve as a communication bridge with finance, accounting, and procurement divisions for project-related activities.
- Generate project-related documentation and maintain comprehensive project files.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
- Manage project service requests.
- Provide assistance to project leaders in utilizing the SAP project management module.
- May oversee and mentor support personnel.
- Carry out other related responsibilities as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of pertinent experience, particularly in budget oversight and project coordination.
- Proficient in the MS Office suite.
- Familiarity with database management software.
- Basic understanding of project management principles.
- Knowledge of the SAP PS module is advantageous.
- Bilingual in French and functional in spoken English.
- Strong collaborative skills with exceptional communication abilities.
- Capable of organizing and managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a diverse environment.
