Position Overview

The Transportation Management Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our trucking fleet, ensuring efficiency and compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary school or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 to 3 years in a supervisory role within the transportation sector.
Key Responsibilities
  • Compile and prepare production and operational reports.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of truck drivers and related personnel.
  • Facilitate training sessions or arrange for necessary training programs.
  • Plan and schedule operational activities effectively.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Make recommendations regarding personnel actions.
  • Oversee the coordination of vehicle repairs and rentals.
  • Manage requisitions for materials, equipment, and supplies.
Supervisory Scope

Responsible for supervising a team of truck drivers, managing a workforce of more than 20 individuals.

Certifications Required
  • Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Class 1/1F/A License for semi-trailer trucks.
