Loblaw, Canada's leading food retailer, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Fleet Operations Supervisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our transportation network, contributing directly to our mission of helping Canadians Live Life Well.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize fleet productivity by meticulously managing driver schedules and capacity utilization.
  • Collaborate with shop scheduling teams to minimize maintenance downtime and ensure seamless vehicle operations.
  • Monitor and evaluate driver performance, upholding company policies and promoting a culture of safety and compliance.
  • Proactively address driver concerns and implement strategies to enhance retention rates within the team.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to align fleet utilization with operational demands and business objectives.

Your Qualifications:

  • A college education in Supply Chain Management or a related field is preferred.
  • 5-7 years of proven experience in a transportation or logistics environment.
  • 1-3 years of supervisory or management experience, demonstrating strong leadership abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with drivers and colleagues.
  • A highly organized and detail-oriented approach, capable of multitasking and making sound decisions under pressure.
