Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a skilled Release Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of releases, managing risks, and resolving issues that impact release scope, schedule, and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough Release Readiness reviews and Milestone Reviews to ensure timely and successful releases.
  • Provide daily Release Reporting to senior management, keeping them informed of progress and any challenges.
  • Communicate release details and schedules to senior management as required, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment.
  • Negotiate, plan, and manage all release activities, ensuring they are executed efficiently and effectively.
  • Plan and facilitate release-level backout activities, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
  • Continuously work towards improving the release process, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing changes to optimize efficiency.
  • Participate in CAB meetings to discuss release scope and/or roadblocks, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and informed.
  • Maintain a release repository, managing key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists.
