Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough security reviews of applications and services to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.
- Design and implement secure architecture for cloud-based applications and services.
- Develop and maintain threat models to identify potential security risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into the development lifecycle.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies to ensure Amazon's cloud-based applications and services remain secure.
- 3+ years of experience in programming languages such as Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java,.Net, C++ or similar object-oriented language experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS, and TCP/IP.
- 2+ years of experience in threat modeling, secure coding, identity management and authentication, software development, cryptography, system administration, and network security.
- Experience with AWS products and services.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, C++.
Amazon offers a competitive salary range of $137,800/year to $230,100/year, depending on experience. In addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, applicants may also be eligible for equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation as part of a total compensation package.
