Job Opportunity at Canlan Sports

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Sports Shop Supervisor.

About the Role:

  • Supervise and schedule team members to ensure excellent customer service and efficient day-to-day operations.
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of hockey and skating to provide expert advice to customers.
  • Oversee Sports Shop merchandising, promotions, cost controls, sales targets, and assist in the annual operating plan preparation.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Retail operations (preferred)
  • Previous retail merchandising and sales experience, with excellent customer service skills
  • Demonstrated hockey knowledge, computer skills, and cash handling experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Previous experience within a sports/recreational environment (preferred)
