As a key member of our team at Fortisbc, you will play a vital role in shaping the learning experience for our employees. We are seeking an experienced Instructional Delivery Manager to lead our training team and drive the development of our training programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of trainers, training coordinators, and learning management administrators to plan and deliver technical and trades training.
- Manage and communicate training requirements, and track and report on training compliance and competency.
- Support the evolution of a high-performing training delivery team aligned to our corporate values.
- Drive the ongoing development of business processes to sustain and enhance the Learning Management System platform.
- Establish relationships with key stakeholders to proactively identify future training requirements and develop appropriate training implementation and delivery plans.
- Support the implementation of technology for training delivery.
- Provide professional development opportunities for our full- and part-time trainer pool.
- Make recommendations for improvement of the training portfolio based on ongoing evaluation of offerings.
- A diploma or degree in a relevant field, plus a minimum of three years of experience leading in an L&D environment.
- Experience leading unionized personnel is an asset.
- Proven leadership skills to foster a supportive team environment and motivate team members to excel at delivering training to internal customers.
- Exceptional organization and strategic-thinking skills, managing programming of training across the Company, including classroom and virtual instructor-led training, eLearning, and blended solutions.
- A demonstrated ability to plan and execute training schedules to ensure training compliance.
- Experience with learning management systems is an asset.
- Experience in instructional design is an asset.
