Job Title: Cable Network Specialist

Advanced Networks is seeking a skilled Cable Network Specialist to join our team. As a Cable Network Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing cable networks to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers to minimize downtime.
  • Test equipment to locate transmission faults and implement corrective actions.
  • Instruct apprentices on cable installation, maintenance, and repair techniques.
  • Complete and maintain accurate test and service reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in cable installation, maintenance, or repair.
  • Working at heights training and WHMIS certification.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require climbing, bending, and manual dexterity.
