We are seeking a highly skilled Content Editor to join our team at Neighbourhood Pub. As a Content Editor, you will be responsible for evaluating the suitability of material for publication, broadcast, or publication on the Internet.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and Select Content: Review and assess the quality and relevance of content for publication, ensuring it meets our high standards.
- Plan and Coordinate Content: Develop and implement content strategies to engage our audience and achieve our business objectives.
- Collaborate with Authors and Staff: Work closely with authors, staff writers, and other stakeholders to revise and refine content, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Manage Content Production: Oversee the production of content, including writing, editing, and proofreading, to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Monitor and Analyze Performance: Track and analyze content performance metrics to inform future content strategies and optimize results.
- Develop and Maintain Style Guides: Create and maintain style guides to ensure consistency in tone, voice, and style across all content.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve content quality and effectiveness.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in content editing, writing, or a related field.
- Equivalent Experience: Relevant experience in a related field may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Language: English language proficiency is required.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
