Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at Certified Building Systems. This role involves working in various environments, including heights and outdoor settings, where you will apply your expertise in drywall installation.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience is necessary.
Work Environment

The work site may present various conditions, including:

  • Working at heights
  • Cold and refrigerated areas
  • Dusty and noisy environments
  • Hot and outdoor conditions
Key Responsibilities

Your primary duties will include:

  • Measuring, cutting, fitting, and installing drywall sheets.
  • Positioning and securing sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists.
  • Applying joint compound to fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Smoothing out excess compound and allowing it to dry.
  • Taping over joints with a taping machine and embedding tape in the compound.
  • Installing corner beads and wire mesh around beams for plaster application.
  • Installing exterior and interior steel studs.
  • Installing vapor barriers and thermal and sound insulation.

Employment Details
