Job Title: Vice President, Energy Trading

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President, Energy Trading to join our team in North America. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and executing hedging and financing transactions for BMO's investor, corporate and commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage an active book of Energy Derivatives, including natural gas and crude oil derivatives
  • Develop and maintain fundamental models to price and execute trades
  • Collaborate with the Commodities Trading group to share market information and solve problems
  • Build relationships with product partners across Global Markets to provide/solicit cross-product mandates for new opportunities

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years experience at a bank, trade shop, market-maker or hedge fund managing an active book of Energy Derivatives
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) including listening, understanding, and responding
  • Expertise in financial computer applications including MS Excel, VBA, and Bloomberg
  • Able to exercise independent thought and judgment under limited supervision and to adapt to new tasks with little notice
