Position Overview

MP BOOKKEEPING is seeking a dedicated Senior Bookkeeper to manage financial records and ensure accuracy in our accounting processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in bookkeeping and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare payroll cheques
  • Maintain and balance various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Prepare and maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries accurately
  • Generate statistical, financial, and accounting reports
  • Prepare trial balances of books
  • Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word
  • Experience with QuickBooks and Simply Accounting
  • Familiarity with spreadsheets and Sage Accounting Software
