About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Officer to join our team at Ultramet Industries Inc. as a Quality Assurance Officer - Product Inspection. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Component Defect Investigations: Investigate and analyze defects in our products to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Collect and Analyze Data: Collect and analyze data from accidents and incidents to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Inspect and Evaluate Material and Equipment: Inspect and evaluate material and equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Remove and Replace Defective Parts: Remove and replace defective parts to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Verify Processing Conditions: Observe gauges, computer printouts, and video monitors to verify that processing conditions are met.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and other quality-related activities.
  • Ensure Compliance with Laws and Regulations: Ensure that our procedures are conducted in accordance with laws and regulations.
  • Ensure Process Steps are Carried Out According to Specifications: Ensure that process steps are carried out according to specifications to ensure quality and safety.
  • Maintain Inspection Records and Complete Inspection Reports: Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Check, Calibrate, and Perform Routine Maintenance on Equipment: Check, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure that it is functioning properly.

Experience
  • 2 Years to Less than 3 Years of Experience: Possess 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a quality assurance role.
