About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Officer to join our team at Ultramet Industries Inc. in a Quality Assurance Officer role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and Analyze Defects: Conduct thorough investigations and examinations to identify and analyze defects in components, materials, and equipment.
  • Collect and Analyze Data: Gather and analyze data from accidents and incidents to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Inspect and Evaluate Materials: Inspect and evaluate materials and equipment to ensure compliance with established standards and regulations.
  • Remove and Replace Defective Parts: Remove and replace defective parts to ensure the quality and integrity of products.
  • Verify Processing Conditions: Observe gauges, computer printouts, and video monitors to verify that processing conditions are met.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, tests, and analyses.
  • Ensure Compliance with Laws and Regulations: Ensure that procedures are conducted in accordance with laws and regulations.
  • Ensure Quality Standards: Ensure that products meet established quality standards.
  • Complete Inspection Reports: Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate records.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Check, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
