Position Overview

The Innovation Project Manager plays a crucial role in steering and orchestrating large-scale innovation initiatives within the organization. Reporting directly to the Director of Innovation, this position is pivotal in managing the tactical planning, design, execution, coordination, and integration of complex projects across the health authority.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Innovation Project Manager include:

  • Overseeing the management and execution of multiple innovation projects to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to team members involved in the Innovation Hub.
  • Utilizing advanced project management tools and methodologies to track progress and report on outcomes.
  • Ensuring effective communication and collaboration among various stakeholders to optimize project efficiencies.
Qualifications

We invite candidates who possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in health sciences or social sciences (e.g., epidemiology, community/public health, biostatistics, or health economics) or a combination of relevant education and project management experience.
  • A degree or diploma in a related health profession may also be considered.
  • Current registration with the appropriate professional healthcare licensing body, if applicable.
  • PMP certification is an asset.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a relevant health profession.
  • Experience in managing databases and proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and internet applications.
  • Familiarity with specialized technology and software pertinent to project management.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in report writing and analytical thinking.
  • Effective time management and organizational capabilities.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Competency in additional languages is an asset, with a preference for French.
Work Schedule

This is a permanent, full-time position requiring 75 hours biweekly.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage for this position is $51.19, translating to an annual salary range of $79,860 - $99,824. Successful candidates may also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
