Facility Maintenance Repair Technician Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance Repair Technician to join our team at Clean Harbors. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facilities and equipment, including pump rebuilds, preventative maintenance, and basic installations of pipe and electric work.
  • Perform basic repairs and upkeep in the welding, electrical, pipe fitting, and mechanical disciplines.
  • Assist higher-level maintenance personnel on larger, more complex maintenance activities.
  • Operate a forklift if required and trained.
  • Ensure that work meets all applicable Company and Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure that work meets compliance standards within facility operation.
  • Maintain a clean work environment and perform job functions in compliance with the company standard: Clean Compliance.
  • Review all applicable SOPs annually and score a satisfactory score on SOP quizzes.
  • Manage supplies in their area of responsibility, including proper housekeeping and best management practices.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Forklift Operator Certification.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Basic proficiency in Welding.
  • Basic proficiency in Pipe Fitting maintenance.
  • Basic proficiency in mechanical maintenance.
  • Basic proficiency in Electrical maintenance.
