About the Role

Clean Harbors is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Repair Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance activities, repairs, and upkeep in various disciplines, including welding, electrical, pipe fitting, and mechanical.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance activities, including pump rebuilds, preventative maintenance, and basic installations of pipe and electric work.
  • Conduct basic repairs and upkeep in welding, electrical, pipe fitting, and mechanical disciplines.
  • Assist higher-level maintenance personnel on larger, more complex maintenance activities.
  • Operate a forklift if required and trained.
  • Ensure work meets all applicable Company and Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure work meets compliance standards within facility operation.
  • Maintain a clean work environment and perform job functions in compliance with the company standard: Clean Compliance.
  • Review all applicable SOPs annually and score a satisfactory score on SOP quizzes.
  • Manage supplies in your area of responsibility, including proper housekeeping and best management practices.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Forklift Operator Certification.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Basic proficiency in Welding.
  • Basic proficiency in Pipe Fitting maintenance.
  • Basic proficiency in mechanical maintenance.
  • Basic proficiency in Electrical maintenance.
